Who are the Music Moves Me bloggers? They’re bloggers who blog about music each Monday & if you have music to share, you are most welcome to join! (Music Posts Only-meaning at least one music video, please!)   There’s Marie from XmasDolly.  Her co-hosts are: Stacy from Stacy Uncorked, Cathy from Curious as a Cathy,  & Alana from Ramblin’ with AM. We’d love to have more music lovers to join us. It’s easy & all you have to do is add your link with a music post that contains at least one music video (there must be a music video), and that’s it!  This week’s theme is whatever music moves you.   Each month, except December.  We have a guest conductor, and this month is no exception.    I’ve decided since I just came back from the Wisconsin Dells (my cousin got married & we stayed at a cottage (my eldest son & daughter),  & I thought I’d try to find some tunes on that category!  Hmmm so let’s see… hmmm… oh wait.. nahhh that won’t due.  Okay, how about THIS one….. Dolly Parton’s new Rock Song…  Okey Dokey Burmese   Okay, its starting to get a bit late & considering I had one helleva  weekend at my cousin’s wedding at the Wisconsin Dells let’s get it on..    Last, but not least one more tune from Dolly Pardon, which is “Hello God”. Dolly Parton Up next is the BEST~!  Dolly Parton & Whitney Houston in “I will always love you”!  Have a great day everyone….. and yes…. “I will always love y’all”!   HUGS  This week’s theme is whatever music moves you.

  1. Hello Miss Marie, So glad you made it home safely from your big weekend away. 🙂 Thanks for sharing Dolly’s newest rock song, “World On Fire”. Sh’e an amazing entertainer. I love how she can do just about anything which frequently surprises me like with this song. Have a boogietastic week, my dear!

  2. It sounds like you had a good time at the wedding. I enjoyed the music. When I hear Dolly, it brings me back to my dad who was home(1987) after his cancerous brain tumor operation. Dolly tried an old style variety show which, I thought, was pretty good. It lasted only 1 season but it gave my dad great joy. He loved watching that show and liked Dolly Parton a lot! He was paralyzed on the one side but he forgot everything when Dolly came on. I wish I could write her, where she would actually read the letter, to let her know how much she made my dad smile those last few months of his life. She’s a great gal as my dad used to say

  3. Happy you enjoyed the wedding trip. It’s good to be away, even if it’s short, isn’t it? I haven’t been to the Dells in a long, long time. So, to the music. Any post with Dolly Parton is guaranteed to be great. So, strangely, when I clicked the first video (Dua Lipa) Dolly’s first video (the rock song) started playing at the same time and I didn’t realize I was getting a mashup for the first minute or so. But, it’s all good. Dolly Parton is one class act and yes, she can rock! Alana ramblinwitham

  4. Dolly wrote “I Will Always Love You” for Porter Wagoner, who gave her her start. Do you remember his show? It used to be on WGN on Sundays. Dolly might look like white trash, but she’s as good as gold and a real classy woman. Good picks this week!
