  1. Wonderful playlist this morning. I can still remember their appearances on the Ed Sullivan show and British Invasion was on! I remember the uproar created by those haircuts…some parents thought they were inspired by Satan himself. Have a very blessed week!

  2. I was a teenager when the Beetles arrived. Everyone loved the Beetles. You picked some good ones.

Have a fabulous day and week, Marie. Love and hugs. ♥

  3. Great picks this week! That second Ed Sullivan clip was fantastic! I know you must have been watching that night (I know I was) and I bet you screamed the whole time…

  4. Oh, how I loved that Ed Sullivan clip. I so remember the excitement when they came and performed on the Ed Sullivan show. Ed looked, at first, like he was happy they were on his show (what a coup!) but by halftime, he was telling the fans to be quiet. The Penny Lane video was also so enjoyable to watch. 5. I loved seeing this. I was born that yr they appeared on Ed Sullivan. I loved how he told the girls to be quiet…hahaaa. Those girls were just wild! I wonder what they think about themselves now. It would be an interesting documentary based on the fans
